No drives found to be automount

Hello,

I've downloaded this app because of its automount feature as I'm having issues with my niftydrive going to sleep rather quickly (and then I can't move any files onto it anymore) - I appreciate the idea of an app that would automatically remount it every time it goes to sleep but this error message ("No drives found to be automount") keeps popping up every time I try to add it in the settings.

If this would have been an issue that only occurred with my niftydrive, then I would've had to just deal with this. BUT I am experiencing the same issue with 2 external hard drives, as well.

So I'm wondering, what is causing this and what do I need to do to solve this?

I'd highly appreciate your answer

kind regards

    Hello,

Before you try adding drives to auto-mount they must initially be mounted. Did you mount the drives first?

Try again and make sure the drives are mounted.

    I hope this helps,
    James

    Hey James,

Yes, I have. I've also tried to unmount the drives via disk utility and then re-mount them, no change.

    Thanks for the response.

I really want to solve this issue so it is fixed in the next build.

    Please create a screencast of these steps;

    1. Mount your Drive
    2. Open your drive in finder (just select any folder in your drive)
    3. Open Drive (our app) and try to auto mount your drive

Upload and send me the video.

Thanks for the video. I will pass it onto a dev to take a look at it.
