    Hello,

    This error displays when you do not have the correct privileges to mount the drive.

    You need admin access and be authenticated to mount it.

    I hope this helps,
    James

    Hi Bill,

    I understand, follow these steps;

    1. Goto system preferences
    2. Open Users & Groups
    3. Select relevant user and enable "Allow user to administer this computer"
    4. Now access your volume/drive from the finder window and authenticate if prompted

    I hope this resolves your problem,
    James
