Unable to use this worthless app

Purchased FB Messenger for Macs yesterday and have been unable to message anyone on my list. Finally, got it to load all my FB contacts, but when selcting any one of them their dialog window opens but nNO cursor appears. Just an empty window!!! Help is nonexistant other than a forum on the developers url where everyone's bitching about the same problems... that this doesn't work and most probably is a scam.

I'm lettling Apple know to hopefully kick it off it's App Store for good!
