Date format in Calendar+

The date displayed in the app isn't U.S. format and I don't see an option to change it. It displays as 18/03/16. For U.S. format it should be 3/18/2016 or at the other standard 2016-03-18

    Yes, I just realized the same thing. I must confess that if I'd known that the dates are displayed European-style only, I would have never bought the app. It is confusing when you're in a hurry, which is most of the time. After all, that's what I found so appealing about the app: faster appointment creation right from the menu bar.

    Getting the ability to change the format to the American style (Month/Day/Year) in an upcoming update would be nice. Assuming the app is still being supported. It's not even listed on the "Our Apps" page anymore.

    The date and time formats seem to be fixed instead of using the formats set in the OS. Please get the formats from the OS localisation settings so that the user's format preferences are inherited to the application.

    Hi,
    in the system format I have 24h format chosen, but in the calendar it shows 4pm instead of 16:00. Any way to change this?

    @Juergen

    I think there is no way to change it. I suspect that the format is fixed (i.e. hard coded to the software). It would be much more practical if the software would use the user's macOS Language & Region settings.

    Using user's language & region settings would likely create more change requirements as the different date & time formats use different amount of space. This should not be a big issue, but something that needs to be handled.
